What if I don't have a 3D printer or full digital setup yet?

You don't need to have everything in place from day one. The LUMIWHITE Lab Scanner can be your first step into the digital workflow.

Once you have your scanner, you can send your digital files to LUMIWHITE Lab, and we'll take care of the CAD design and/or 3D printing for you for a small fee.

This means you can start accepting and working with digital cases without having to invest in a printer or full CAD setup immediately. As your digital workflow grows, you can then choose to bring more of the process in-house and invest in your own 3D printer when the time is right.

Can I use the LUMIWHITE Lab Scanner with exocad, 3Shape and other CAD software?

Yes. The LUMIWHITE Lab Scanner uses open file formats, allowing scans to be imported into a wide range of compatible dental CAD software, including exocad, 3Shape and other industry-standard CAD/CAM platforms.

Can I arrange a demonstration before purchasing?

Absolutely. We offer on-site demonstrations so you can see the LUMIWHITE Lab Scanner working in your own laboratory before making a decision.

A member of our UK sales team can visit your laboratory, demonstrate the scanner and then give your team the opportunity to use it themselves.

You're also welcome to have your own models, impressions or cases ready, so you can see how the scanner performs with the types of work you handle every day.

Does the scanner need to be connected to the internet?

The LUMIWHITE Lab Scanner does not rely on a monthly cloud subscription to operate. Your laboratory can maintain control of its scanning workflow without being tied into a recurring subscription model.

Is there any ongoing subscription fee?

No. There are no monthly subscription fees for the scanner.

Can I spread the cost of the scanner?

Yes. 0% finance is available for up to 12 months, allowing you to spread the cost into manageable monthly instalments rather than paying upfront. Finance is subject to approval and applicable terms.

Is scanning spray recommended?

A scanning spray is not required for every case, however it can be beneficial when scanning particularly reflective, glossy or challenging surfaces. 

Using a suitable 3D scanning spray can help reduce surface reflections and improve scan capture, potentially making certain cases easier and more efficient to scan. 

For the best results, we recommend using scanning spray where appropriate based on the model, material and individual case.

What PC/laptop specifications do I need to run the LUMIWHITE Lab Scanner?

For the best performance, we recommend using a PC/laptop with the following specifications:

  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super 6GB or equivalent

We recommend using a dedicated workstation that meets or exceeds these specifications to ensure smooth and reliable scanning performance.

When will my LUMIWHITE Lab Scanner be delivered?

Once payment has been received, we will arrange your scanner delivery and training with you directly.

Please allow up to 10 working days from receipt of payment for us to coordinate and book your delivery and training session. 

We’ll be in touch to arrange a convenient date and ensure everything is ready for your team.
